Recycled French Oak Tables

Using our 325 year old Recycled French Oak posts and beams, sourced and French Oak Australasia from a former granary (grain storage building) in Southern France during our travels in 2012, we commissioned this bespoke table for one of our valued Clients. The table features pedestal legs, the ‘French Peasant’ framing and bracketing, and a beautiful, Herringbone feature top. 3.0m long x 1.2m wide, it is stained in the traditional fashion and sealed with 2 coats of hard wax oil.

The work was performed by our recommended Joinery, Colonial Restorations, located at Eagle Farm in Brisbane, led by owner Mark Percival. Our Client was able to speak directly  with Mark, who added input and value to the final design, colour and hard wax oil finish, drawing on knowledge of previous projects French Oak Australasia and Colonial Restorations have partnered together over the years.

We can work with you to create your own bespoke, ‘only-one-in-the-world’ joinery pieces, from Recycled French Oak, Recycled Burmese Teak or French Oak Australasia Australian Hardwood.
